NYMTC’s consulting contracts procurement opportunities are announced on this website, on the New York State Department of Transportation website (https://www.dot.ny.gov/business) and in the New York State Contract Reporter. Inquiries regarding the Consultant Selection Process, including questions about RFPs and RFQs pending selection, upcoming projects, or project awards must be submitted in writing to NYMTC's contracting officer for a response. All questions shall be directed to the attention of Seitu Allen, NYMTC (Seitu.Allen@dot.ny.gov); Copy: Patty Kappeller, NYSDOT Contract Management (Patricia.Kappeller@dot.ny.gov). NYMTC offers two classes of RFP: Open market, which are available to all qualified consultants; and pre-selected market contracts, which are available to a reserved pool created through an open market pre-qualification process. Examples of pre-selected market contracts include the University Transportation Research Consortium (UTRC); and NYMTC’s Planning Services Agreement (only open to the teams led by the four prime consultants who previously were designated in the parent RFP).
The New York State Department of Transportation is the contracting agent for NYMTC and the state's procurement rules guide all of NYMTC's contracting activities. For more information on doing business with NYMTC Go To https://www.dot.ny.gov/business
